The most important thing in swimming
Swimming
is a sport that moves the whole body. You have to know what is the most important thing in
swimming. The first thing you should know is warming up, warming up is
important to increase oxygen flow. You have to know how to regulate the flow of
oxygen in the water. And warming up can avoiding muscle cramps, at least you
cross body leg swing, forward lunge and stretch out your arms. Movements like
that can avoid injury.
The
second is exhalation technique, you should know how to breathing technique in
the water. When you take a breath don’t raise your head, and start on one side,
don’t forget to breathe constanly. and you have to know about technique of
exhale in the water. You can exhale through your mouth or nose. When your face
in the water you should be exhaling all the time. There are still many swimmer
who do this technique wrong. There are still swimmer who exhale into the air
while swimming, if the swimmer exhales the air the whole body will feel stiff
and it can causes injury.
Another
thing you should know is exhale constanly. if you hold your breath in the water
it will stiff your body and you hold CO2 in your body. The reason why you
should exhale constanly is it will relax your body and is a fundamental of a
good freestyle technique. So you should catch exhale in the water constanly and
continuosly.
You
should learn to sink to train your breath in the water and try to relax your
body while swimming. You have get used to water of various depths. You should
even try to sit at the bottom of the pool and watch the bubbles as you pop, or
you can try lying on your back in the pool. For beginner swimmers you have to
practise a lot of drowning, you can start by squatting at the bottom of the
pool. This should be used as this will help you relax while in the water.
